Skyler Glover and Goran Zaneti’s (‘21 Documentary Program) film, innocence, was one of five films to launch L.A. Times ShortDocs, a new monthly series that showcases films that amplify underrepresented voices and foster diversity in the film industry. Their film powerfully shows how a group of Black and Latina women in San José, California, drive a grassroots movement to remove police from their children’s schools.
